  5. PROCOMM PLUS UK is the "try before you buy" version of PROCOMM
  6. PLUS.  DATASTORM has created it to allow you to test PROCOMM PLUS
  7. before committing your hard earned pound.
  8.  
  9. First of all, though, you must be aware that PROCOMM PLUS and PROCOMM
  10. PLUS UK ARE NOT FREE SOFTWARE, NOR ARE THEY IN THE PUBLIC
  11. DOMAIN.  Both programs are fully copyrighted works protected to the full
  12. extent of US and international copyright law.  Your license to use and
  13. copy this program is discussed in the accompanying file PCPLUSUK.DOC.

  15. What does this mean to you?  While you are granted a limited license to
  16. evaluate the program on a trail basis, regular use of the program
  17. requires purchase.

  19. You are not allowed to modify the software under any conditions.  We do,
  20. however, encourage you to create "add-on" support utilities and programs
  21. to enhance your and others' enjoyment of the program.

  23. You may copy the program for the trial use of others subject to the rules
  24. outlined in PCPLUSUK.DOC.  In general, you may only copy the program in
  25. complete and unmodified form, as we distribute it.

  28. permission from DATASTORM.  This applies especially to disk vendors.
  29. Some services mislead customers into thinking they have purchased the
  30. software, rather than just the disk and duplication service.  If you have
  31. purchased this product from a disk vendor and feel they were misleading
  32. about what you have purchased, please write us and we will investigate
  33. the matter.

  35. You may not include PROCOMM PLUS UK with any other product,
  36. whether hardware or software, without specific license.  For example, you
  37. may not include PROCOMM PLUS UK on the hard drives of computers
  38. you  sell, or include it with copies of software you have developed.
